CRE 101 Designed for Young Leaders

This year, CoreNet is embarking on a new program for its young leaders called CRE 101. The program encompasses four CRE-oriented classes that will be held throughout the year in Orange County and Los Angeles. Held at no cost to any young leader who is a member in good standing with CoreNet, the program content will cover:

  • Basic Fundamentals in CRE Finance (the first session set for March 7 in Newport Beach)
  • Common Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) – What They Mean, and How We Measure Them
  • Landlord vs. Tenant Lease Negotiation / How to Interpret a Lease
  • Reading/Understanding Construction Documents

“We designed the program based on member input,” shared Anya Ostry of Cushman & Wakefield. Ostry leads the Young Leader program for the local chapter. “CRE 101 will provide meaningful information to help members who are in the early stage of their career, may be considering the Masters of Corporate Real Estate (MCR) designation and want to get a head start, as well as provide a great networking opportunity.”

Another strong advantage is that CRE 101 will help to encourage the next generation of CRE talent in the region. Young Leaders who attend all four classes will receive a Certificate of Completion.

If you are interested in learning more, the first session on CRE Finance will be held March 21 in Newport Beach. It will be led by Mitchell Rusbarsky, CPA, MCR, Managing Director, West Region, Cushman & Wakefield and CoreNet faculty. Register here.
